Miltenberg, whose firm specializing in campus sexual assault just opened a Boston office. … Miltenberg called the procedures he has seen “at worst, bizarre, rudimentary and sinister, and at best, negligent and juvenile in their approach to equity and transparency.” Miltenberg allowed that the “Dear Colleague” letter was “well intentioned.” “But has it been horrifically implemented? Yes,” he said. “Has it been misused as a hammer instead of a shield? Yes. That’s where the problem lies.”
