Susan has over 25 years of experience practicing civil litigation focused on employee and employer-side employment matters in California. Since 2017, she has served as one of Stanford University’s-identified attorneys advising students, staff, and faculty through Stanford’s SHARE and Title IX Processes. Susan also advises Stanford students facing OCS disciplinary matters. Susan provides expertise to students and faculty in K-12 schools and higher education institutions in California on matters involving allegations of sexual assault, harassment, discrimination, stalking, retaliation, defamation, and other misconduct.

Susan also has advised students and faculty through school disciplinary processes on conduct code, academic integrity, related disciplinary violations, special education matters, IDEA dispute resolution procedures, and due process hearings.

Prior to joining Nesenoff & Miltenberg, Susan was Senior Counsel at Shuman Snyder, LLP, and Pierce & Shearer, LLP practicing employment law in the San Francisco Bay Area.
