Christine D. Brown

Christine Brown is a trial lawyer specializing in Title IX. She champions individuals and families victimized by implicit and explicitly discriminatory acts and systems. Christine’s vast knowledge of these policies and procedures was refined during her time working at Fairfield University managing multiple roles on behalf of the institution including Director of Legal Services, Title IX Coordinator, and Director of Risk Management. Christine was responsible for conducting an audit of the Title IX procedures and subsequently authoring the Title IX policy. She was also one of a three-member executive team that was tasked with mediating a complex sexual abuse litigation matter filed against the institution. In recent years, Christine has participated in hundreds of administrative matters at major institutions across the country. Christine comes from a long line of lawyers in her family all of whom have shared her affinity for fighting for the underdog.
