Those critics say the meetings give them hope that changes may be coming soon. “This is the first time that there’s been an acknowledgment — an open acknowledgment — that there’s another side, another part of this equation — and the other part of this equation is the people who are accused,” said Andrew Miltenberg, an attorney who represents students who say they were wrongfully accused of sexual assault.
