Monmouth University hosted a panel of experts, including Title IX Due Process attorney Andrew Miltenberg of Nesenoff & Miltenberg, LLP, for a conversation to get students thinking about how they should respond in the wake of reported incidents of sexual assault on college campuses.
Andrew Miltenberg: For the most part in the last several years, I think athletes, and especially black athletes, are treated very poorly. What I’m guessing is that because they’re highly visible on campus, it’s a perfect person for the university to go after and send a message to the entire community.
