Kirsten Roy is an associate attorney at Nesenoff & Miltenberg, LLP, where her practice focuses on Title IX matters and employment discrimination. She is dedicated to advocating for clients navigating sensitive and complex disputes, bringing both a strong litigation background and a client-centered approach to every case. Kirsten is committed to guiding clients through some of the most challenging moments of their academic and professional lives, advocating with both compassion and precision.

Before joining the firm, Kirsten served as a judicial law clerk at the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island, the Rhode Island Supreme Court, and the Rhode Island Superior Court, gaining broad experience at both the trial and appellate levels. She also represented insured clients and claims representatives through all stages of litigation, focusing on achieving favorable resolutions for her clients through negotiation and settlement. This broad litigation experience informs her ability to craft practical, strategic solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

Kirsten earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Roger Williams University School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of the Roger Williams University Law Review. During law school, she also externed with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, deepening her understanding of federal appellate practice. She received her B.A. from the University of Rhode Island.
