Helen J. Setton

Helen is a civil litigator with a significant background in complex commercial litigation cases including partnership conflicts, breach of contract actions, fraud claims, and real estate disputes. Helen’s business clients look to her as an outside general counsel for advice on corporate matters such as potential liabilities, entity formation, regulatory compliance, and employment disputes.

Helen’s practice includes extensive work in defamation cases and Title IX and Title VII, representing students and faculty members involved in higher education disciplinary matters including sexual misconduct and academic integrity, both at the investigatory and hearing stages through litigation.
