EMPLOYMENT DISCRIMINATION AND NON-COMPETITION LITIGATION
We are determined, experienced advocates on behalf of employees who have faced discrimination and retaliation in the workplace.
Our country was built on the belief that every individual has certain inalienable rights. These rights are protected by the U.S. Constitution and other federal as well as city and state laws. Too often, these rights are blatantly and repeatedly violated – especially in the workplace.
Our team regularly represents employees who have been victims of the following types of discrimination:
- Sexual harassment
- National origin
- Sexual orientation
We handle cases in New York state and federal courts, and in other states, including California, Indiana, Ohio, Mississippi, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
In a case against a large New York City hospital system, NMLLP successfully represented a woman who sued her employer for disability discrimination for a hostile work environment, in violation of the New York City Human Rights Law. After a five-day trial, the jury awarded the woman several millions of dollars in damages.
NMLLP represented a factory worker for a major sugar company who sued her employer for sexual harassment, gender discrimination and hostile work environment after being subjected to degrading sexual remarks and harassment from her supervisor. The jury awarded the woman over $13 million in damages.

We are a hard-working, highly responsive team. We don’t believe in the “cookie cutter” or “churn” approach many larger firms take to employment discrimination cases. Each and every client gets the personal attention and individualized approach we believe is necessary to secure a strong outcome.
We are proud of our record fighting on behalf of victims of workplace discrimination and the positive feedback from our clients. See what our clients are saying.
