Rodman W. Streicher is a seasoned and highly skilled litigator. Armed with over a decade of high-stakes trial experience, Rod is a tenacious, effective, and driven advocate. With a passion for the problem-solving aspect of litigation, Rod especially enjoys working closely with clients to develop creative, strategic and efficient solutions to their disputes.
Rod has extensive experience in all stages of litigation, including negotiations, discovery, dispositive motion practice, and trial. Rod has tried nearly 40 cases to a verdict and takes special pride in his skill and accomplishments as a trial lawyer.
With a nationwide practice which includes representing individuals in defamation actions and employment discrimination, Rod also has an extensive Title IX practice representing university students and faculty accused of misconduct. His practice also includes complex commercial litigation, appeals, and inheritance disputes. He has represented businesses and business owners in breach of contract cases, as well as business tort matters such as fraud, theft, conspiracy, and breach of fiduciary duty.
Prior to joining Nesenoff & Miltenberg LLP, Rod served the people of his hometown as a prosecutor with the Outagamie County (WI) District Attorney’s office. There, he was responsible for prosecuting hundreds of cases, ranging from simple misdemeanors to significant violent felonies. As a prosecutor he served as lead trial counsel in a dozen cases, consistently winning favorable verdicts. Before that, Rod worked for one of Wisconsin’s largest law firms, specializing in commercial and business tort litigation.

DEFAMATION – Successfully represented a NYT best-selling author and former Manhattan prosecutor in a landmark federal defamation action against Netflix arising out false portrayal in an award-winning docudrama.
DEFAMATION/BREACH OF CONTRACT – Representing an educational consulting company in a defamation and breach of contract dispute against a Massachusetts school district.
UNIVERSITY EMPLOYMENT DISCRIMINATION – Represented a Nobel Prize-winning professor in a federal Title VII age-discrimination dispute against an elite research university.
TITLE IX/GENDER DISCRIMINATION – Obtained a favorable settlement for a college baseball player in a federal Title IX and breach of contract action against a prominent Pennsylvania liberal arts college.
TITLE IX/GENDER DISCRIMINATION – Represented a former NFL wide receiver in a federal Title IX action against a preeminent public research university arising out of his wrongful expulsion.
UNIVERSITY EMPLOYMENT DISCRIMINATION – Successfully overturned university harassment finding on appeal on behalf of renowned physics professor.
COMMERCIAL LITIGATION/BREACH OF CONTRACT – Successfully defended a seller of firearms parts and its owner in a million-dollar commercial contact action over non-conforming parts.
COMMERCIAL LITIGATION/BREACH OF FIDUCIARY DUTY – Successfully represented the owner of Wisconsin trucking company in a business theft case, winning a favorable money judgment at trial.
COMMERCIAL LITIGATION/BREACH OF CONTRACT – Represented a developer and designer of firearms parts in a federal breach of contract action against its manufacturer/supplier, arising out of faulty parts and extortive negotiating practices.
COMMERCIAL LITIGATION/BREACH OF FIDUCIARY DUTY – Won dismissal of a breach of fiduciary duty case brought by a minority shareholder against a Wisconsin dental supply company.
COMMERCIAL LITIGATION/CONSPIRACY – Represented a Wisconsin-based trucking and excavating company in a civil conspiracy action against its judgment debtors, both in the trial court and on appeal, drafting and submitting a Petition for Review to the Supreme Court of Wisconsin.
PROBATE/INHERITANCE LITIGAITON Obtained a favorable settlement on behalf of defendants in a million-dollar inheritance dispute.
COMMERCIAL LITIGATION/BREACH OF CONTRACT – Securing a favorable settlement on behalf of Wisconsin-based inventor and his company, securing client’s intellectual property rights.
